Motor insurance – not our favourite purchase

A recent survey on things women least liked spending money on showed motor insurance as being quite high up the list. This isn’t really that surprising. Car insurance is for most of us is a fact of life that we’d rather not have to worry about. After all who likes being reminded about the possibility that we might be involved in a car accident? But, whether we like it or not, it is important – and we’d certainly miss it if it wasn’t there when we really needed it.

What do women want?
Well, answering that one would take longer than we have here – except where car insurance is concerned, of course. The simple answer is that women want to pay less than men do. It’s become an established fact now that women are safer (and yes, therefore better) drivers than men. And since insurance is all about risk and who poses the least, then it seems only fair that we should pay lower premiums than they do. Paying more for motor insurance than you have to simply means than you’re subsiding the less safe drivers – men. And who wants to do that?

As vast as the internet it we’re all so computer savvy these days that we know exactly where to look to get what we want – so it makes sense for us to be in the one place that most of our customers are likely to come looking for us. And the technology now available means that we are able to provide instant online quotes at the touch of a button.

*A replacement car can normally be arranged under one of the following conditions: (1) Comprehensive policyholders – a replacement car may be available under the terms of your insurance policy. Please check your policy details for more information. (2) Non fault accident – where we have the name, car registration number and insurance details of the person who caused the accident, we can supply a replacement car. This is done on a credit hire basis which means the costs for this service will be passed onto the insurance company of the person who caused the accident. We may not be able to arrange a replacement car where we are unable to get an admission of liability from their insurance company, or where the driver is untraceable or uninsured. (3) Repair garage – if your car is booked in for repairs following an accident, the repair garage may be able to provide a replacement car (subject to availability).
