Car insurance for couples unveiled

With Valentine's Day just a week away, isn't it about time you got your man a gift that really shows how much you love him?

Well now you can.

Privilege Car Insurance have launched a new motor insurance scheme that allows you to save money by adding your partner to your policy, thus giving you some extra cash just in time for Valentine's Day.

The new offer, called 'Insured and Partner', should guarantee a saving of around £50, and isn't just available to heterosexual married couples, but any partners as long as they're both living at the same address and over the age of 25.

Ian Parker, managing director of Privilege Insurance, said, "In our experience, drivers taking the 'Insured and Partner' option represent a lower risk- perhaps because the responsibility of being in a long-term relationship translates into safer driving behind the wheel.”

A couple using Privilege’s new car insurance offer will earn a no-claims-discount that is transferable between parties, so you can both benefit in the future, whether or not you stay together.

So now that you’ve saved some money and got a cheap car insurance deal, why not spoil your man this Valentine's Day?

You could treat him to a ticket for this summer's World Cup (http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/), arrange for some flying lessons (http://www.cabair.com/), or even buy him his very own planet (http://www.createaplanet.com/). Then maybe you could send him there too.
