According to MINT Loans, women these days are taking their motoring as seriously as men. Taking advantage of great value car insurance for women, many women are splashing out on sporty cars, some even making sacrifices in their wardrobe so that they can afford something fast and stylish. Because of the savings that women can make on their motor quotes buying a fast car is not out of the question.
Half of all women are now going against the stereotype and believe that car maintenance is a top priority. As many as 10% of women are also making modifications to their cars, adding a big spoiler, leather seats and a high-level sound system.
Jerry Toher, Managing Director of MINT said: "Our research clearly shows that today's woman is taking a keen interest in cars and taking every opportunity to get behind the wheel. What's really interesting is that these driving divas are prepared to make major sacrifices in order to finance their cars, whether it's cutting back on nights out or downscaling their wardrobe.
"As we all know, cars can be a costly business. Taking out a loan is often a sensible way to finance such a purchase because it allows you to spread the cost over a longer period of time through affordable, regular payments."
Taking out a loan is the most common way to finance a new car but as with car insurance for women it is a good idea to shop around for the best rates.
