The recent decision to continue with the freeze on car fuel duty is a welcome relief for female motorists.
However, the AA motoring Trust Claim that high petrol prices have already left Britons with less money to spend in the shops which is terrible news for us girls. Petrol prices are 10p more than they were at the beginning of last year and crude oil prices are on the rise.
Paul Watters, head of transport policy for The AA Motoring Trust adds "Motorists will continue to suffer from a big hole in their pockets from inflated car fuel costs. Each penny rise in the price of petrol takes £730,000 a day out of consumer spending and leaves a £26 gap in a typical two car-owning household’s annual budget."
This means that the only chance of us girls hitting the sales this January is to save some money by making sure we have the cheapest car insurance for women on the market.
There are sure to be many low cost car insurance offers if you shop around. Surprisingly, the majority of people simply renew their motor insurance each year with their existing provider. However, with significant savings available it is well worth spending time shopping for a better deal.
