Car insurance for all you girl racers

Lifelong car enthusiast, Jackie Skelton quite literally became a girl racer in November 2005. Jackie was a contestant in Formula Woman, a UK reality show that aimed to seek out women to take part in a female racing championship in 2006.

With the goal of progressing as far as she could as a racing driver, and showing those men a thing or two, plenty of practice and sheer determination has finally enabled Jackie to reach British racing standards.

Jackie who usually drives a classic Lancia Fulvia has spent hours behind the wheel of Club Formula Woman’s Honda Civic TYPE-Rs. Jackie has trained at the famous Dunsfold track, where BBC’s Top Gear is filmed. She has also been perfecting her car control and racing skills on tricky circuits at Goodwood, Oulton Park and Llandow.

After completing her Formula Woman ‘assessment’ and racing for the first time in November 2005, Jackie is now awaiting the chequered flag so she can commence competing for the female racing championship title in the coming year.

(2) Non fault accident – where we have the name, car registration number and insurance details of the person who caused the accident, we can supply a replacement car. This is done on a credit hire basis which means the costs for this service will be passed onto the insurance company of the person who caused the accident. We may not be able to arrange a replacement car where we are unable to get an admission of liability from their insurance company, or where the driver is untraceable or uninsured. (3) Repair garage – if your car is booked in for repairs following an accident, the repair garage may be able to provide a replacement car (subject to availability).
