Survey reveals women’s car insurance savings

We all know that women are far better drivers than men, and the fact that women's car insurance is so cheap is testament to this.

No matter how much men whinge about our parking or our map-reading, we know that that we're the best, and they, really, haven't got a leg to stand on.

The latest stats from Confused.com only add fuel to our argument, as it has been revealed that women pay, on average, £242.25 less than the £676.78 men are charged for their annual car insurance cover.

The price of motor insurance has actually dropped for both genders over the last 12 months as more online car insurance firms spring up, improving competition and driving prices down.

A spokeswoman from CoverGirl Car Insurance Services, the expert women's car insurance providers, commented, "We've known for years that women are far better drivers, and this latest survey proves it."
