A recent survey has found that more and more female drivers are choosing the colour blue for their brand new set of wheels.
Women's car insurance customers are now ditching the recent favourites of silver and black for a colour that has always been branded as boyish.
Blue cars have also shown to be a popular colour for motorists in London, accounting for 23 percent in sales of vehicles.
But as always, favourite colours are bound to change and what might be popular now for drivers benefiting from cheap car insurance may not be such a great selling feature in years to come.
Lloyd East of poll organisers AA Personal Loans, said, "People should remember that the colour affects car sale price after a few years."
Lee-Anne Bass, a spokesperson for Cover Girl Car Insurance Services, the expert women's car insurance provider said, "Changing the colour of your car every few years is a great way for lady car insurance customers to really express their personality."
