An Australian poll has found that women Down Under are more worried about the rising cost of fuel compared to male drivers.
Some 86 per cent of female drivers who pay low car insurance for women premiums are more concerned about prices of petrol, according to the survey from NEWS.com.au and Coredata.
Over half of women drivers said that they wanted to economise the use of their fuel and were looking to buy a smaller car, which will lessen their fuel bill and give them cheaper car insurance premiums.
Men who wouldn't usually get cheap car insurance are also buying smaller cars to cut down the cost of petrol prices as well as their insurance premiums.
British drivers have also felt the strain of rising petrol prices in the UK. Car insurance for women premiums are a good incentive for female drivers to buy smaller cars and cut the cost of petrol prices.
