Over the last few years we as motorists have been warned about our impact on the environment and that we should ditch our cars in favour of walking, vehicle sharing and cycling. It's therefore ironic that Peugeot, a car manufacturing company which started life in the cycle industry, has recently unveiled their new, super echo-friendly 308 Hybrid HDi.

The demonstration at the Frankfurt Motor Show is just one of many that we can expect to see before Peugeot releases the finished product in 2010. There have already been changes to the 2006 307 Hybrid HDi model demonstration, which previously had a petrol engine. Instead, a diesel option has now been confirmed as the method of choice as it reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
Not only is the Peugeot Hybrid a car of mechanical excellence, it also has the type of style that all motorists would dream of with its panoramic glass roof, RT4 multi-media system and light interior.
