Don't judge your date by the colour of their car

Ok, so you think you've met the perfect man, or be it woman for that matter, and you've arranged a date to go to the cinema. Did you know that when they pull up outside your house that the colour of their car will be able to tell you what type of person they are? We've always been led to believe that size doesn't matter so perhaps colour does instead?

Every sensible female who's managed to make huge savings on her woman car insurance knows not to get into a car with an axe murderer, but wouldn't it be nice to know a bit more about the person about to take you to see the latest Shrek movie? Well, according to a leading colour expert in America, Leatrice Eiseman, you'll be able to look at your date's car and tell in a second if they're the one for you.

It might be somewhat shallow to judge somebody by the paint job on their Citroen Saxo but in this day and age where people hook up online in an instant, each and every sign that helps us get to know a stranger just that little bit better is going to be a good thing. So, if you want to make sure that the savings you made on your latest woman car insurance police are worthy spending on a bucket of popcorn for this person then make sure you pick somebody with a good choice of car.

Who should you avoid?
Just like searching for woman car insurance, we females like things done easily and as effectively as possible. To get a good deal with your date, you should apparently take precautions with the drivers of these coloured cars.

Red - According to Leatrice Eiseman, if you're looking for a serious relationship then your best to stay clear of people who drive bright red vehicles. If your date turns up with a red Fiesta, then yeah they might have got a good deal on their Ford motor insurance but these drivers have been described as "sexy, speedy, high-energy and dynamic." Possibly not the type of person you'd want to introduce to your parents.

Black - Although people who drive black vehicles are generally thought to be quite good partners, because they're "empowered and not manipulated" it could be difficult to win an argument with them.

If you're looking to settle down
Calling all you woman car insurance customers out there, if you want to find a man that will stick buy your side and maybe pay for your future online lady car insurance policies then look out for bachelors with the following coloured cars.

Silver - Apparently, if your date drives a silver car they're "elegant, love futuristic looks and are cool."

Gold - People who drive gold cars are thought to be "intelligent, warm and love comfort."

Yellow - Leatrice Eiseman believes that motorists with "sunshine yellow" cars have a "sunny disposition, and are joyful and young at heart."

Orange - If you're looking for a perfect partner, people who drive orange cars are "fun-loving, talkative and trendy.

Purple - If you want somebody who has individuality, purple car drivers are "creative and original."

Dark blue - Your mother will be very impressed if your partner turns up in a dark blue car as this means that they are "credible, confident and dependable."

Light blue - Blue seems to be a good colour for romantics; a lighter shade of blue means that the person is "calm and faithful."

Brown - For a sensible partner go for somebody who drives a brown car as they're likely to be the "down-to-earth, no-nonsense" type of person

Dark green - Just like the green paint we see of old fashioned Victorian houses, a personal driving a green car is considered to be "traditional trustworthy and well balanced."

Whether the colour of your date's car actually tells us what type of person they are is definitely something to be questioned. For all we know their car might have been handed down to them by their grandparents and in that case we would be judging them based on the preferential tastes of an old man - who might even have been an axe murderer!

But really, this is all just a bit of girlie fun. If you actually judged every person you met by the colour of their car then you could find yourself winding up being a lonely old spinster and who would want to date you then? Ignore the colour of their bonnet; if they turn out to be the one then you can always use your woman car insurance savings to pay for the car to be re-sprayed. That way you can choose whatever colour you want, blue, green, maybe even brown, the choice is yours.
