	Small family car - Volkswagen Golf 1.6 FSI Match The Volkswagen Golf is a car with an impeccable reputation for quality and performance, and it won a much deserved place in the WhatCar? 2007 award line-up thanks to these attributes - and more. The WhatCar team described it as fun, fast and engaging, all of which add up to make the Volkswagen Golf a fantastic drive. Despite the Golf's great performance, its fuel efficiency is still pretty good and it records an average mpg of 40.4.
