Although car insurance for women is usually very cheap because of ladies' safe driving habits, recent research has revealed that mums run the risk of accidents on the school run.
According to Sainsbury's Bank, there have been more than 460,000 accidents involving parents taking their children to school in the last five years.
In light of this, the motor insurance company is highlighting the need for ladies to get their children's car seats covered by their car insurance for women policy.
Sainsbury's Bank is one of the few providers of car insurance which includes new-for-old car seat replacement should there be an accident.
A spokesperson for Sainsbury's Bank advised mums to ensure that their children used car seats, saying: "As parents, we need to treat each journey in the same manner regardless of the length or familiarity of the journey and take extra care to make sure the seats and boosters are correctly positioned and fastened."
