A drink driver from Memphis, Tennessee has ruined her woman car insurance rate but thankfully not her hair-do, after a night out celebrating her birthday with friends.
When police pulled her over for erratic driving, they were amazed to find the woman was sporting an 18-inch bleach-blonde mohican. Her hair was so big she'd needed to open her sunroof just to fit into the car with it.
Cops initially asked her to walk in a straight line as a gauge of her sobriety - but then couldn't be sure if her faltering performance was due to the alcohol in her system or simply a strong crosswind. In the end, a breathalyser test proved she was under the influence, and the woman was taken into custody.
"Hair is important to us girls, but I think it'll probably grow back quicker than the no claims bonus on your motor insurance" said Lee-Anne Bass, one of the woman car insurance experts at CoverGirl.
