Loss of cheap car insurance won't stop 105-year-old

It's frustrating enough losing the no claims discount on your cheap car insurance after two or three years - but what about 71?

71 is the number of years Britain's oldest driver, a 105-year-old lady from Dundee, had gone without making a claim on her women's car insurance. Sadly, a minor prang in May 2007 has set her all the way back to zero no claims.

However, she's vowed that the end of cheap car insurance won't mean the end of her driving career - which began way back in 1936.

"As long as I have a car, I am my own person," she said.
