Car sharing for lady car insurance customers

Although the affordability of female car insurance ensures that every woman has a few extra pounds in her pocket, the cost of petrol can sometimes have a devastating effect on our bank accounts. To solve this problem drivers have partnered up with friends, colleagues and even strangers in a bid to save on the expense of motoring.

Taking the kids to school and commuting to work are just some examples of where the savings from our woman car insurance go. But thanks to one organisation, the worry of having to continuously fuel up at the petrol station may one day become a thing of the past.

The social enterprise Liftshare was set up in 1997 with one aim in mind - to make a "more efficient use of the millions of empty cars on UK roads by encouraging and enabling more people to share their journeys." Ten years on and the service is being used by a huge number of female motorists who have successfully found other commuters to share their journeys with.

The company's CarBudi scheme has enabled women drivers to keep hold of their lady car insurance by cutting down their monthly fuel costs and has even contributed to the government's target of cutting CO2 emissions by 60% before 2050.

Liftshare statistics
Liftshare has 164,193 members
The scheme has approximately 80,000 registered journeys
Successful matches take 5,000 vehicles off the roads every day
5,000 tonnes of CO2 is saved every year
The car sharing scheme saves around 2 million journeys

How to join CarBudi scheme
If you find yourself having to spend huge amounts of money on petrol and often make long journeys alone, than you make wish to consider joining a car sharing scheme such as CarBudi.

There are millions of female motorists in the same position as you. They're happy after saving on their female car insurance but quickly become disappointed when their money becomes regularly spent on expensive fuel costs. For those of you interested in keeping hold on you online motor insurance savings, here's how CarBudi works.

After joining the free scheme, drivers simply register their journey on the system. CarBudi then lists potential matches on a table and map and the user can then easily find the best person to share their journey with. Once the user is happy with their match, they simply send an email to the potential car sharer and arrange a date to meet up.

The online site has a number of quotes from happy customers including one that says, "I checked it out thinking I wouldn't find a match but quickly discovered that there was someone travelling the same route as me from Looe and I have been car sharing ever since. I have probably saved myself several hundred pounds already and we now have a third person who has started sharing with us."
