An American street festival ended in complete chaos after a female driver crashed into crowds of people.
The 30-year-old lady may find it difficult to get a good deal on her woman car insurance after the authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and charged her with aggravated assault while armed.
A total of 35 people were injured at the festival including two children under the age of three and two police officers who drover their scooters into the path of the woman cars in a bid to stop her in her tracks.
Pedestrians had to jump out of the woman's way as she accelerated her car straight into the direction of crowds enjoying the Unifest festival, an annual event that's sponsored by a local church. Her behaviour demonstrated that not all lady drivers should be rewarded with affordable woman car insurance.
One onlooker described the scene and said, "She was driving like 'If you're in my way, you're going to get hit."
Another witness, a man who knew the woman locally recalled saying to her, "What are you doing?" He added, "She was sweating like a race horse. We tried our best to stop her. She was in a deranged state of mind."
The woman, who may have benefited from cheap woman car insurance in the past, could find it difficult to get an affordable deal on her next motor insurance quote.
Police are still carrying out an investigation into accident. Once officer said, "We're still trying to piece together exactly just what happened that led up to this."
