For ladies, motor insurance is usually very cheap. However, this is not always the case for the thousands of women each year who need to claim on their car insurance policy following a theft from their car.
One of the most common places for car break-ins to take place is in shopping centre car parks. However, there is one car park that is now better for ladies' motor insurance premiums than any other and it has just won the Park Mark Safer Parking Scheme award.
The Ayr Central car park has got "bright colour-coded parking zones, strong lighting and unobstructed sightlines." These features combine to both put off potential thieves and prevent the low speed shunts that are so common in car parks.
