For better or worse, women have got a bit of a reputation for bad parking.
It seems like a small price to pay when you consider we're also much safer drivers than men and pay loads less for women car insurance - but all that goes out the window when you get stuck trying to fit the family Volvo into a space the size of a crisp packet.
So when we heard cheap car insurance provider the AA was commissioning a study to find the best car park in Britain, we at CoverGirl Car Insurance Services were naturally curious.
Kevin Beresford, head of the Car Park Appreciation Society, was the natural choice to carry out the research.
He travelled the length and breadth of the country, stopping to at every multi-storey, forecourt, parking bay and lay-by until he was sure he'd found the very best.
The winner, it turns out, is a multi-storey in Birmingham's Mailbox complex, which wowed Mr Beresford with its good lighting, tasteful music and good space width.
"It is quite a stylish building," he said, "easy to get into and easy to get out."
Lee-Anne Bass, spokesperson for the woman car insurance specialists at CoverGirl, said: "I didn't even know they played music in car parks!
"I'm not sure if it's worth a trip to Birmingham to see it for myself, but this is great news for women who live locally," she added.
