Findings show why car insurance quotes are cheaper for women
Recent studies into motoring convictions have proven just why it is female motorists receive such great deals on their girls car insurance quotes.
The latest government findings from the Ministry of Justice showed that male drivers accounted for 88 per cent of all motoring convictions in 2005. The findings also showed that men were 60 times more responsible for two of the most serious motoring offences.
Speaking about the shocking statistics, the head of campaigns at road safety charity Brake said: "This adds weight to urgent calls for the government to overhaul our whole system of learning to drive."
A spokesperson for the women's car insurance provider, CoverGirl Car Insurance Services, said: "The latest study shows just why female driver insurance customers find it a lot easier to get a good deal on their car insurance quotes compared to men."
