Learner drivers should avoid taking their driving tests in December, say motor insurance experts at Admiral.
According to the car insurance quote provider, the month in which you take your test can severely affect you chances of passing.
Following their survey, anybody who takes their test in August will have a much better chance of passing but will be more at risk of an accident. Those who take their test in December are more likely to fail.
The outcome of the survey found that January was the best month for passing a test, which would also reduce the risk of an accident occurring that may have to be claimed on a motorist's cheap car insurance policy.
A spokesperson for the car insurance quote company said: "On balance, I'd say the best month to sit your test is in January, which has a reasonably high pass rate combined with a fairly low accident rate."
