Passing your driving test is always a great feeling, but drivers are reminded they then have to amend their car insurance . Women all have to do this, even members of the Royal family.
And Princess Eugenie, daughter of the Duke of York, is no exception.
Having had driving tuition from a Metropolitan Police driving school senior instructor, the Royal driver passed her test at the first attempt, having failed her first theory test due to a lack of study, or so it was alleged in the Daily Mail.
She will now have to inform her women's car insurance provider that she will be driving her £8,000 convertible Nissan Figaro unaccompanied.
However, her insurance providers are probably hoping that she will not follow in her elder sister's tyre tracks, as earlier this month Beatrice had her BMW 1 Series stolen as she shopped. Unfortunately, the keys had been left in the ignition.
To claim on car insurance women are reminded that such actions may mean that their provider will not pay out.
