Cheap car insurance for women from CoverGirl is all well and good, but I'm sure it hasn't escaped your notice - fuel prices are huge right now.

From February next year penny pinching female drivers (and those who want an easy parking option) will be able to purchase the Smart ForTwo Diesel.
The three cylinder common rail diesel will only be capable of 44bhp, but its teeny-weeny tank could deliver up to 85.6mpg - that's 670 miles, or Dover to Prague, if you so wish.
