White Christmas could affect cheap car insurance
Cheap car insurance customers are being urged to drive safely following an influx of snow storms in Northumberland and County Durham.
Police have been warning drivers in the area about possible future snow storms and have advised that people do not make any unnecessary journeys when the weather turns bad over the winter months.
A spokesperson from Northumbria police commented on the warning they gave previously and said: "We advised motorists not to make any journeys on the A68 at Carter Bar and the rest of the road was also treacherous."
Any female driver who has a road accident because of the weather may find that a claim on their cheap car insurance could affect the cost of their motor insurance quotes in the future.
