Woman loses cheap car insurance in shop crash

An elderly woman escaped unhurt after crashing into a store front in America, although there may be some damage to her cheap car insurance rates.

The lady apparently lost control of her car as she was driving near a shopping mall and ended up driving in through the doors of two businesses. It got 10 feet inside the shops before becoming wedged.

Witnesses say that it was fortunate nobody was hurt in the incident, as the store owner, his 9-year-old son and an employee were all in the building at the time.

A spokesperson for the women's motor insurance company CoverGirl Car Insurance Services said: "It is indeed lucky that neither the woman nor those in the shops were hurt, but sadly I would imagine the damage would be such that the same cannot be said to her cheap car insurance premium."
