Are you guilty of skimping on your womans car insurance cover to try and get the best cheap car insurance deal? BIBA (British Insurance Brokers' Association) has raised concerns over the growing, recession-fuelled trend for customers to reduce their levels of cover on their home and car insurance in the bid to save a few pounds.
However this can come at a price. BIBA Chief Executive, Eric Gailbraith is warning customers that reducing your level of cover is dangerous without first gaining the advice of a broker. If you should need to make a claim and you have not got full cover, you face the possibility of your claim only being partially met or not at all.
A spokesperson for Covergirl, experts in cheap car insurance for women, said, "There is no need to reduce cover when it is possible to find cheap car insurance online that will give you the cover you need without leaving your purse empty."
