An Enniskillen lady is going to find cheap car insurance quotes are harder to come by after she was convicted of two motoring offences.
Police stopped the 30-year-old in December 2006 after it was noticed that she did not have a vehicle test certificate.
She was requested to bring her motor insurance certificate to a police station within seven days, but it subsequently became apparent that she was not insured.
When she appeared at Fermanagh Magistrates' Court, her solicitor told the court that she had sorted out the situation with her lapsed car insurance.
She was convicted of driving without insurance and driving without a valid vehicle test certificate and was disqualified from driving for six months and given a £250 fine by the court's Resident Magistrate.
A spokesperson for the woman car insurance experts at CoverGirl Car Insurance Services said: "It is a shame that she chose to drive without cover, as car insurance quotes for women are so cheap these days. I hope that she will take to the roads legally after her disqualification period has expired."
