Cheap car insurance customers admit to feeling guilty
Too many Brits are guilty when it comes to bumping into another car and speeding off, according to Direct Line.
The cheap car insurance company found that a huge percentage of motorists quizzed in a recent survey admitted to crashing into parked cars and driving away.
In total, 10% said that their actions had played on their minds whereas 20% said they were not concerned about the issue of driving off at all.
Commenting on the study, a spokesperson for the UK motor insurance provider said: "Bumping another car can happen so easily and, while it may be tempting to drive off, it's worth remembering that it is a crime to do so."
If a motorist has to claim on their cheap car insurance policy because someone else has not left their own policy details, it could affect the price of their car insurance quotes in the future.
