Haircut could damage woman car insurance premiums
It seems that a lady's haircut could actually put her at risk of a serious car accident and may even increase the cost of her next woman car insurance quote.
According to a recent study by Sheila's Wheels, up to 67% of female drivers have a haircut that covers their eyes while driving. However, despite this hazard, 21% of those surveyed said they secure their hair away from their face before setting off on their journey.
To explain the important of a fashionable hairstyle, hairdresser Martyn Maxey, said: "For some celebrities, a change of hairstyle is headline news. Take Kate Moss and The Fringe for example - in recent weeks we've been inundated with requests for the long fringe and despite it falling over the eyes, it's now a fashion statement and people want it."
Advice for woman car insurance customers is to enjoy a fashionable hair-do but don't risk your cheap female driver insurance by having a fringe that reduces your visibility of the roads.
