A huge number of ladies' car insurance customers love to belt out a tune, according to a recent survey commission by Vauxhall Motors.
It seems that female drivers around the UK each fancy themselves as the next Leona Lewis and hope that practising behind the wheel, when nobody is there to hear them, will help them get their vocals in top condition for the next auctions.
The survey found that an impressive nine out of ten drivers love to sing behind the wheel, with 58% confessing to belting out their favourite song.
Speaking about the result of Vauxhall's study, an acoustic specialist said: "The variety of absorbent and reflective surfaces enables songsters to sing with confidence.
"Together with confined space [singers] can truly hear intonation imperfections often masked in other favourite singing haunts such as the shower."
A spokesperson for the cheap online car insurance provider, CoverGirl Car Insurance Services, added: "It's great that ladies' car insurance customers love to sing their heart out behind the wheel. With such great deals on their premium we can understand why they would have lots to sing about."
