Women's car insurance ad stars release taster of single

The "Sheilas" from a series of women's car insurance TV ads are due to release a single in September, and have released two snippets of the song over the net in advance.

The ladies, who are best known for their pink dresses and singing the dreadfully catchy Sheilas' Wheels car insurance theme tune, have decided to try their hand at success in the music charts.

With this single they have proved that they can sing about more than women's car insurance, with the song being entitled (I'm So) Happy Happy (You're Mine).

The start of the song, which was included in the online taster, goes: "Everybody wants the sun/Nobody wants the rain/Everybody wants the joy/Nobody wants the pain."

Written by famed music producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman, the song is currently being planned as a one off. However, Pete Waterman did reveal that if the ladies' car insurance stars are well received in the singles charts, they'll be back in the recording studios for an album.

He also commented: "I wouldn't have done it if they weren't in an ad."
