Trucking great career for motor insurance customers
Women motor insurance customers must be excellent drivers if the latest research from America is anything to go by.
According to recent research, 5.2 per cent of the country's truckers are female drivers; a dramatic increase from previous figures.
Just one of those woman car insurance customers told of her experience behind the wheel and said: "Not many people can handle long periods on the road. I can, especially as I make more money than I could back home."
In contracts to this, there are fewer female drivers in the UK driving HGVs and recent news states that Skills for Logistics wants to find 575 lady truckers.
