A lady has been describing her excitement at being chosen to appear in an advert for women's car insurance.
The 21-year-old revealed that she had only entered the Sheilas' Wheels competition for fun, never expecting to win a place in the final advert.
She said: "I heard about the auditions through an email and thought it would be great fun to have a go.
"I just wanted my 15 minutes of fame. I never really thought I would be successful."
According to a Sheilas' Wheels spokesperson, it was the 21-year-old's 'Sheila Factor' that made her stand out at the auditions.
She said: "She beat over 11,500 women to secure her seat in the big pink Sheila mobile.
"Although we were initially looking for five lucky ladies to ride alongside the three Sheilas, the panel of judges were so impressed with all 50 finalists at the auditions they had to pick 30 winners."
The new Sheila, who works in Inverness, had to travel to Shepperton Studios in London for the final filming of the women's car insurance advert.
She said: "The actual trip down to London for the filming though was superb. All our expenses were paid for. We all had to buy our own outfits but they gave us an allowance for that and we all had executive suites in the hotel we stayed at. We were treated like stars."
She also revealed that there are a new song to accompany the new ladies' motor insurance advert, saying that it is "just as catchy as the original one."
