Despite women getting great deals when buying online car insurance, new research has shown that they're more likely to get stressed behind the wheel.
For years now, female driver insurance customers have been able to boast about their excellent driving skills but a new study in America might just sway some people's opinions.
The study carried out by The Stress Institute found that women have higher levels of cortisol than men after driving to their workplace.
Kathleen Hall, founder of The Stress Institute, said: "Women are so overbooked, overworked and overwhelmed, and they look at that hour commute as where they can work."
A spokesperson for CoverGirl Car Insurance Services, the experts in cheap car insurance online said: "Even when we ladies get a little stressed, we're usually better than me when it comes to driving. However, stress can lead to other health problems so we should make every effort to stay calm."
