A motoring study carried out in America has revealed that a large percentage of female drivers feel safer when using satellite navigation systems in their vehicles.
The study carried out by TeleNav found that 60% of female motorists, many of whom likely benefited from cheap car insurance for women, felt that their sat navs gave them added security when travelling alone.
The research also showed that although women deserve the get the best motor insurance quotes for their excellent driving skills, a number of women lacked confidence when it came to driving on their own.
Motorists admitted that one of their main concerns when it came to driving was becoming lost in unfamiliar neighbourhoods, where they could become exposed to a variety of different hazards for which they may have to claim on their ladies insurance.
A spokesperson for the car insurance company BiB has advised female drivers searching for cheap insurance motor quotes to ensure that their sat nav is covered in their policies.
Covergirl Car Insurance Services spokesperson, Gemma Turner, said, "Car insurance for women is so affordable and it makes sense to buy a sat nav with the savings that you make on your cheap car insurance policy."
