Although finding car insurance for women at a really low price can be very satisfying, there is nothing quite like the moment that you purchase a new pair of heels.
At least, this is what thousands of UK girls seem to think. Research by Woman & Home magazine has revealed that the average woman owns 19 pair of shoes while 5% of ladies admit to having over 100 pairs.
And this is not all the survey has revealed. It also found that of those 5% with wardrobes looking like shoe shops, a third will fib about costly new additions to their collection.
Lee-Anne Bass of CoverGirl Car Insurance Services, a company specialising in car insurance for women, said: "Well, I must own up to having more pairs of shoes than the average lady. I just can't seem to resist them - pink ones especially.
"I'm a bit embarrassed to say that my most expensive pair actually cost me more than my motor insurance policy this year."
