Vauxhall Tigra top hairdressers' car
The Vauxhall Tigra is hairdressers' favourite car, according to women's car insurance company Diamond.
In a study of 12,500 female car insurance customers who listed hairdressing as their occupation, Diamond found that the chic coupe from Vauxhall was by far the most popular.
A spokesperson for the ladies' car insurance company said: "It's not surprising that the Tigra is so popular amongst hairdressers, as it's stylish, modern, and the metal folding roof allows them to show off their latest cut!
"However, look out for 'hairdressers' cars' on the roads as hairdressers have a poorer accident record than non-hairdressers. In fact, according to Diamond's data, they are 18% more likely to have an accident."
Other than the Vauxhall Tigra, other popular cars with hairdressers were the Volkswagen Beetle, Ford Ka, Mini One and the Peugeot 106.
