Could the next real-life James Bond also be a woman car insurance policyholder? While it is an intriguing prospect, because of the covert nature of secret service operations, it is unlikely that anyone will know any time soon.
The question of whether the typical woman car insurance customer will become the spy of the future has been raised by news that MI6 is targeting woman spies for recruitment into its agency. Such highly-publicised recruitment drives clearly indicate that the days of MI6 being the preserve of George Smiley or James Bond types are long gone.
Pola Uddin, the first Muslim woman to hold a seat in the House of Lords commented on MI6's recruitment campaign. ``We need less sexism and a symbol who doesn't always hold a martini glass,'' she said.
Indeed, and can you imagine the difference in the price of motor insurance quotes were you to compare, say, that of Martini-drinking, risk-taking James Bond with the typical woman car insurance customer's?
