A female driver from Kent is hoping to prove to everyone just why it is woman car insurance is so affordable by becoming a racing driver.
The 33-year-old decided to enter Formula Woman in 2006 in a bid to prove to the entire world that female drivers deserve to have cheap motor insurance because of their fantastic driving skills behind the wheel.
And so far she has done just that. The female motoring enthusiast has challenged herself as well as other woman car insurance customers by completing a number of tests to secure her position in the top 100 places.
At the end of June 2007, the 33-year-old will be competing against other women during a two-day elimination camp where they will battle it out to gain a place in the final 16 - all of whom will have their chance to take part in the Formula Woman championship.
When asked about the experience so far she replied, "My recent testing times have proved to be very competitive."
Gemma Turner, spokeswoman for CoverGirl Car Insurance Services, the online motor insurance provider, added, "Formula Woman is a great way of getting female drivers motivated and onto the track. Many people have always associated motor racing with men so it's fantastic to see woman car insurance customers showing off their great driving skills."
