Ladies dream of driving across America

Lady drivers dream about cruising the American highways, CoverGirl Car Insurance Services has discovered, especially with Hollywood hunks as their passengers.

Woman car insurance customers told us all about their dream road trips as part of a national competition to find a beautiful new face for our website.

Out of the hundreds on women that wanted to become the Face of CoverGirl Car Insurance 2007, each one had a unique and interesting tale to share about where they would take their car for a once in a lifetime road trip.

The findings revealed that as many as 44% wanted to visit the US, travelling to such places as Las Vegas, Hollywood, Atlanta and Miami. Many budding models wanted to enjoy their experience with their best friends, while some wanted to pick up famous hitchhikers such as George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

Surprisingly, only 17% wanted to stay here in the UK and visit the many sights that our tiny island has to offer. A further 20% wanted to pack up a VW campervan and hit the roads across Europe with another 8% wanting to jet off to sunny Australia.

A spokesperson for CoverGirl Car Insurance Services said: "We just loved reading every one of the dream road stories that came in. They were really imaginative and you could tell that some of the ladies that entered might actually attempt to carry out their perfect trip one day in the future.

"Of course, whether it's in the US, UK of Australia, we would advise that all females make sure they're covered by their woman car insurance policy in the event of an accident."
