Cheap car insurance may increase for woman driver
A female driver who skidded off an icy road and hit a tree may have put her cheap car insurance premiums at risk as well as herself.
The woman in her late 20s was driving a Renault Clio along Forest Lane, Wiltshire, when severe icy weather conditions caused her vehicle to leave the road.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the accident and the driver was cut free from the wreckage of the car. She was taken to hospital but is not thought to be suffering from serious injuries.
As a result of the crash, the lady may find that she has to claim on her cheap car insurance policy, something which may increase the cost of her woman car insurance in the future.
