Once again, womans car insurance buyers are reminded to be on their guard in dangerous road situations after reports from Chelmsford that a woman driver involved in a car accident was assaulted by a male at the scene.
The woman lost control of her vehicle as she drove down Chelmer Valley Road near Rectory Lane and, according to police reports, a dispute broke out soon after.
The woman driver was allegedly pushed over the bonnet of her car.
Two women eventually stopped to offer assistance and another driver offered the woman a lift to her home.
A 25-year-old Chelmsford man was arrested on suspicion of committing traffic offences and assaulting the female driver.
