A woman's car insurance supplier recently revealed a study showing that some women do choose potential partners on the strength of the car that they drive.
The Diamond survey found that 36 per cent of the women they questioned admitted that the car a man drove would affect how attractive the man appeared.
Interestingly, one in ten of the women polled said that would date a
"really ugly" man if he owned a nice car.
Sian Lewis, managing director of Diamond, said, "These results show just
what an impact the car you drive can have on a potential partner. However,
what would happen if you sold the car, would they dump you?"
A spokesperson for CoverGirl, the woman's
car insurance specialists, said, "Whilst the car a person drives can
say a lot about the owner, the right car
insurance policy possibly says more. Our policies all come with telematics technology as standard and are an advanced and innovative way of getting your car insured."
