There are lots of reasons why a womans car insurance premium may be cheaper than the male equivalent and, unsurprisingly, they are as much about men as they are about women.
But then perhaps the reasons are about women; only it depends which way you look at it.
To cut a long story short one must not skirt any longer around the issue: 29% of male drivers confess to being distracted by women's summer clothing while behind the wheel, according to a leading woman's car insurance company.
Unfortunately, it appears that this distraction does lead to a higher rate of car accidents; during the summer months there are 16.4% more motor insurance claims involving men than at any other time of the year.
Behavioural psychologist Donna Dawson provides insight, "Research shows that men are far more easily distracted behind the wheel than women.
"Men are more visually orientated and so distractions such as an attractive woman walking down the street can quickly take their attention away from driving and the job in hand."
Is it any wonder that womans car insurance is cheap when compared to the premium quotes received by most men?
So stop complaining boys, and keep your eyes on the road.
