A female driver may have to make a costly claim on her women's car insurance policy after she crashed into a shop window.
The lady was driving her Vauxhall Astra in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, when she accidentally drove straight into the book shop.
A resident living in the flat above the shop said: "I heard one almighty crash and the earth shook. A couple of floorboards came lose in the flat.
"I came down the stairs to have a look at what was going on and to see a car had crashed into the shop. A lot of damage has been caused to the shop."
Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the accident; however, the woman's car insurance customer may lose the no claims bonus on her motor insurance policy.
