Womens insurance is a big issue whether it is for female car drivers - or a major purchase such as an expensive engagement or wedding ring.
New research has revealed over half of all women wear loose rings purchased for them by their partners. The men buy over-sized rings so women can wear them as soon as possible.
With some 56 per cent of brides-to-be and other halves buying large rings, they risk their sparklers falling off because it is more than 50 days on average before they get a ring re-sized.
An average engagement ring can set a man back over £1400 yet about a third of men failed to think about insurance cover for loss or theft and a quarter said they would not insure it at all.
Without some kind of insurance for women's rings in place, many lovers risk having to replace their expensive rock before their engagement or marriage is barely underway. That can't be good luck.
