We would all love to buy a brand new Peugeot, especially when we can receive such great deals on our motor insurance but what if you want something that's got a little more character? A classic perhaps? Well, CoverGirl Car Insurance Services, the experts in woman car insurance are going to talk you through some of their favourite classic Peugeots.
Just as one of Peugeot's classic adverts said, "There is no such thing as the average person" and that is exactly why so many of you prefer to buy a car with a little more edge than a brand new model. Classics come in all shapes and sizes and there is no doubt that an oldie will get heads turning when driving it on the UK roads. And what's more, you can boost your social life by joining some of the many classic car clubs around the country such as the oldest club in Europe, www.clubpeugeotuk.org.
If you don't fancy buying from one of Peugeot's latest ranges such as the 307 and 1007, then why not consider the option of buying a car with a few more miles on the clock. To get an idea of what's out there, we have devised a list of Peugeot classic cars. So, make a brew, get comfy and have a gander at some of these fantastic models.
Peugeot 405
This car was a supermini to beat all others. Between 1972 and 1988 over 1,624,992 models were made throughout Europe making the 405 one of the most popular superminis of its day. With a small engine size ranging from 1.0 to 1.4, Peugeot customers would have easily been eligible for cheap car insurance.
Peugeot 205
This car was one that boosted Peugeot sales through the roof in the 1980s and became known and one of the nation's most sought after hatchbacks. Built between 1983 and 1998, Peugeot sold in the region of 5.3 million 205s, many of which are still being circulated on the market today. Our personal favourite version of the car is the two-door Coupe, a car that would still turn heads more than twenty years after the first model was produced.
Peugeot 203
This saloon car was built by the manufacturer between 1948 and 1960 and was Peugeot's first new design following World War II. The 203 was in fact the only car that Peugeot produced from 1949 to 1954. It was a huge success in France and by the time the vehicle ceased production, nearly 700,000 models had been made. With fewer classics still in existence, make sure that your Peugeot car insurance policy covers your classic for all instances of theft and accident damage.
Peugeot 403
This model was a large family vehicle built between 1955 and 1966 and came in the available options of a sedan, convertible and pick-up truck. The convertible vehicle was even used by Lt. Columbo in the popular TV detective series. When this car was made it was considered to be extremely reliable and continues to wear this prestigious badge, making it a great classic for cheap Peugeot car insurance.

*A replacement car can normally be arranged under one of the following conditions: (1) Comprehensive policyholders – a replacement car may be available under the terms of your insurance policy. Please check your policy details for more information. (2) Non fault accident – where we have the name, car registration number and insurance details of the person who caused the accident, we can supply a replacement car. This is done on a credit hire basis which means the costs for this service will be passed onto the insurance company of the person who caused the accident. We may not be able to arrange a replacement car where we are unable to get an admission of liability from their insurance company, or where the driver is untraceable or uninsured. (3) Repair garage – if your car is booked in for repairs following an accident, the repair garage may be able to provide a replacement car (subject to availability).
