Renault Voiturette
This was the first car that the French manufacturer produced between 1898
and 1903 - a very long time before any of us could buy cheap car insurance
online. The very first model was designed by Louis Renault and sold to
a family friend; that same night another twelve models were sold. Five
models were made under the same name, setting Renault
well on its way to becoming one of the most popular car makers around.
Renault Espace
This vehicle was launched in 1984 but had a rather slow start with just
a reported nine models sold in the first month. In 1988 the Espace had
a revamp with the Talbot parts being replaced with Renault's own. The
car had another revise in 1991 when the car took on a family theme, offering

especially after several revamps to bring the model bang up to date.
Renault Clio
One of Renault's most popular cars has got to be the Clio. The car was
first sold throughout Europe in 1994, replacing the much-loved Renault

up-to-date with the modern way of living with its sleek designs and interior.
In 2006 it was voted European Car of the Year and achieved an impressive

Renault 4CV
This vehicle was the first of Renault's models to sell over a million
units. It was designed during the German occupation of France during World
War II when the production of vehicles was strictly forbidden unless they
were for commercial or military use. Known to many as "La motte de beurre"
(the lump of butter) because of its shape and yellow colour, it became
a great success in racing, reinforcing the strong relationship that Renault
has with the sport.
Renault 25
As one of the most luxurious cars of the early 1990s, the Renault 25 came
second in the European Car of the Year Awards. Introduced in 1983, the
large car had five doors and an unconventional wraparound rear window,
making it one of the most stylish cars to spend your money on. In 1988,
the vehicle had a facelift bringing it up-to-date with the competition
but after 25 years production ceased in 1992 to make way for the Renault
Safrane.
