Woman car insurance firm reveals ultimate hairdresser's car

Ever heard the expression 'hairdresser's car'? Well, woman car insurance firm Diamond reckon they've found the ultimate example.

After careful examination of some 12,500 hairdressers' motor insurance details, researchers at Diamond found that of all models, the Vauxhall Tigra was by far the most popular.

In fact, spot a Tigra in the street and it's four times as likely owned by a hairdresser than by any other professional.

Gemma Turner, spokesperson for the woman car insurance experts at CoverGirl, said: "I like the look of the Tigra, but this almost makes me feel like I shouldn't buy one!"

"I wonder if the findings would be so clear-cut for other jobs," she added.
