Ladies' car insurance news

Extras wanted for woman car insurance stars' single

Organisers of a pop video invited people to come along as unpaid extras to feature alongside the "Sheilas" who famously advertise woman car insurance.

Hudson PR, which organised the filming of the video for "(I'm So) Happy Happy (You're Mine)" by the Sheilas' Wheels trio at Kingston College, needed around 180 volunteers to make up the audience.

The extras were required to join the woman car insurance ad stars in a dance routine, which judging by the trio's past record, likely featured lots of pink, sparkly outfits.

The three women, who are more usually seen in a bubblegum-pink Cadillac singing about ladies' car insurance, decided to release a music single after an overwhelming reception from the UK public.

A special fan club celebrating the Sheilas' Wheels ladies can be found at http://www.ilovesheilas.com.
