Women car insurance customers train to become instructors

Learning to drive is one of the most daunting and yet exciting experiences of your life. It's therefore important to make sure that you get the right driving instructor - for most ladies this means hiring the services of a trained female driver.

Women car insurance customers will find it surprising to learn that the majority of driving instructors continue to be male. In a day and age where the number of female mechanics, lorry drivers and taxi drivers has increased steadily over the years, there still remains to be fewer women training to become qualified driving instructors.

According to the statistics, only 15% of the driving instructors registered with the Driving Standards Agency are female. This is a sad and shocking fact to learn. With female motorists being such fantastic drivers it makes sense that they should teach others how to drive and go on to get affordable women's car insurance.

How to become a driving instructor
There are a number of organisations that can provide you with all the knowledge that's needed to become a driving instructor. If you're interested in changing your career path and want more information, simply type "driving instructor training" into Google. Here are some of the best courses we found.

BSM
Established in 1910, BSM is one of the UK's leading experts in training new driving instructors and is an Official Register of Driving Instructor Training.

It can take between 6 and 12 months to complete all the necessary training before becoming an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) but it will be well worth the wait when you get to see your first students pass their exams.

BSM has a number of testimonials from several different people who decided to become driving instructors and help young people start their online search for women's car insurance. Here's what they had to say.

"I like meeting lots of different people. Teaching people to drive gives me a great sense of achievement."
Christine Simpson

"I find it a rewarding and enjoyable job helping to teach people a skill for life and seeing them progress."
Dawn Tait

AA Driving School
If you're an excellent driver and you've always been given a great deal on your women's car insurance, then why not consider becoming an instructor with the AA.

As with all ADI training courses, you'll need to have held a valid driving license for at least three and a half years, be over the age of 21 and be able to read a number plate from 27.5m (90ft). The exam coveres three parts including a computer-based and hazard perception test, practical driving test and practical test of teaching ability.

If you successfully pass all the exams, you could be one step closer to becoming a fully trained teacher - one who's able to help aspiring drivers buy affordable women's car insurance. And, if any of your students decide to take the Pass Plus exam they could save even more on their motor insurance.
